I didn't care for the first few chapters as much and I was afraid I wouldn't like this book as much; the main characters say, think, and do stupid stuff when they have too much time on their hands. Now that I'm farther along though it's gotten exciting! Space battle like a real sci-fi novel! Although sometimes I don't like the main characters, especially with the fact that two of them are empaths in mind. The lead girl isn't an empath so I guess she sometimes has that as an excuse when she's stupid or a jerk, but I'm not sure if the author forgets sometimes that the characters are empaths and should know how Chara feels or if the characters are just stupid or jerks.

I am speechless and in awe of this series. These books are incredible and major props go out to LR Pardee. What a great storyline with such poignant characters. I highly recommend this awesome book series to anyone who enjoys starcrossed romance with a science fiction twist. I hope this is not the last book in this series. At least one more book would be nice to tie up the story. I will be anxiously awaiting the next book in this incredible series.
