Hello World: Celebrating Hari Raya

Celebrating Hari Raya

I think the photo above pretty much summarizes everything. Everything went smooth and then Bam! something unexpected happened.

I was excited to return to my grandparents' hometown for few reasons.
  • To visit my grandmother. I haven't seen her for 2 years now.
  • To visit my relatives as I am in the mood for festivity right now.
  • To show off the new me.
  • To shoot 2 separate videos. One for the blog and another one for my family as my parents have requested.
I bought 5 new MiniDV cassettes and a new tripod for the sake of shooting these videos. I also have made 2 different storyboards to produce these two videos.

I've packed my bag and was ready to leave on Friday's morning. That's when I remember I have to babysit my big brother. No, he is not sick. Just unbelievable irresponsible. Just like the year before. I am annoyed and frustrated.

But the show must go on. Somehow and someway. Now how on earth am I going to showcase a great celebration of Hari Raya in a video? Think JJ. Think.

Another video of me yakking - with frustration.

But the show must go on.

Truthfully,

JJ
