Hello World: I'm Not Being Narcisuss

These Fancy Photos

Recently a friend of mine asked me why I shot a lot of my own photos. Self portrait of myself in a various self indulging poses. He asked "Isn't it too self absorbed?"

Am I being self absorbed? No, I beg to differ. I'm not being Narcisuss, the self admirer in the Greek methodology. I have my own rational reasons.

Previously I have mentioned on how I ripped a lot of my old fat photos. I ripped them when I was still heavily fat. I wasn't happy with with what I saw in those photos.
There was one time when I shot a close up look of myself. I really thought that I would look good in those close up photos as deep down I know that I have a nice looking face. But the output photos did not agree with me.

I didn't find any good photo. Not even a decent one. In reality I looked horrible. I hate to say this but once you become overweight, your skin texture will be damaged. Nonetheless it will recover once you have lost your weight. I don't know why. Maybe it was due to lack of oxygen? Bad blood circulation? But in overall, I really looked bad in those photos. I cried and ripped those photos instantly.

I couldn't accept the reality. "I couldn't look that bad. There must be something wrong with the camera."

Since then I have made sure of myself not to take a close up photo. Bad photo will end up being ripped.

You can find hypocrisy in that story. I am not ashame to admit that I was a hypocrite. Hate it or not we all are somehow and someway.
These fancy photos are my small evidence to tell the world and yours truly on how weight loss has completely changed me physically and mentally. The new JJ is highly positive, optimistic, grown up, mature, secure and confident with himself.

I am willing to pose in such ways because I am very confident with myself. I am also not scared of embracing myself as well as the reality. Oh, and also because I love art and photography as well.

Bottom line is these photos are my soul definition.

I'm not being Narcisuss

Yours truly,

JJ
