Weighing YourselfHow often do you weight yourself? I notice there are quite many folks that weight themselves daily. I beg to differ but I believe it's better to weight yourself once in a week rather than everyday as your body may fluctuate up and down from day to day. Consider the food, water, salt etc. that you have consumed into your body - all these can influence your body weight from time to time.
I did it once and boy, it drove me nuts. One day my weight was fine than suddenly it went down and up again. It wasn't a good thing as it made me a bit paranoid with my weight and my food intake. Once I kicked my scale out of frustration and called it the devil machine. lol
Thus I believe it is best to weight yourself once in a week instead of everyday. It would give you a more accurate picture of your weight loss. But of course each to their own and I respect individual's opinion.
I do my weekly weighing before I eat and drink. By all means I weight myself in the morning before breakfast and also after my first run to the bathroom. Don't weight yourself after you have consumed your meals as you will be heavier by then.
Also keep a record of your weight status in a notebook or in your computer so that you can track down and monitor your weekly progress in weight loss. I have been keeping my weight loss record since day one and it helps a lot.
I believe it is best to weight yourself once in a week instead of everyday.

Random: Tom was the first stray cat that I took care of. Unfortunately Tom was already in a critical condition at the time. She couldn't use two of her four legs. Hence when I called her out she would just crawl to me slowly. It was sad to watch. She loved to snuggle around me. Then one day she kept miaow-ing gently to me and stared deeply into my eyes. That was the last time I saw her. My neighbor said she found Tom's body in a drain. I could not forget Tom. Somehow someway I feel guilty or maybe it's just because Tom was my first pet thus I have a strong feeling toward Tom.

I weigh myself on Wednesday mornings - right after I get up (and after my eyes start working). I agree with not weighing too often - I might occasionally weigh once on the weekend but just as a gut-check to ensure I'm on course. And then I record my weight online for EVERYONE to see. Eep!

I have to weight myself twice in every month. One time at home for personal record and another one at clinic by my doctor for his own record. Same weight though.
